A lifelong resident of Cumru Township, Berks County, Carmen maintains a general practice of law, with concentration in the areas of business formation, corporate law, civil litigation, municipal land use and zoning, and wills and estates administration. He also presently serves as an arbitrator in the Berks County Court of Common Pleas Compulsory Arbitration Program and as a frequent panelist/speaker at legal seminars sponsored by the Berks County Bar Association.
Prior to opening his practice, Carmen served as a judicial staff attorney for the Berks County Court of Common Pleas for more than 20 years, where his responsibilities involved civil litigation, including personal injury, medical malpractice, contracts, real estate, municipal land use and zoning, and criminal and family court cases.
Outside the practice of law, Carmen enjoys spending time with his wife, Catina, and their daughter, Maria. He is also a sports and classic car enthusiast.
